Work-based learning quality assurance in VET in
Moldova – from EQAVET to WBL quality

Objectives

• Identification of credible quality assessment indicators for work-based learning in Moldovan WBL providers (VET centres, companies, organisations, NGOs etc.)
  The first objective of the WBL-Quality MD project is the identification and operationalisation of credible assessment indicators and criteria. These criteria need to be relevant for the VET system as well as (most important) for the business environment of companies providing WBL in Moldova.
• Introduction of EQAVET principles as quality assurance method for work-based learning in Moldova
  Support the introduction and use of the EQAVET approach with its principles and building blocks during this project.
• Promotion of digital assessment tools for quality assurance in work-based learning in Moldova
  With our online self-assessment tool, we will provide companies with a fully digital tool to assess their work-based learning quality and receive a collection of improvement suggestions (based on the EQAVET principles).
• Development of competences of WBL responsible persons in companies, organisations, NGOs etc. as well as on VET training provider (VET school) level.
  With the participation at the developed and offered strategy development workshops where both VET providers and WBL providers will work together on quality improvement strategies, all participants will be developing their understanding and competences in the field of quality in VET.
• Improvement of work-based learning quality in the Moldovan VET system
  The overarching aim of the WBL-Quality MD project to improve the quality of work-based learning in the Moldovan VET system
